Could you please give me some examples of using "ASK" without any prepositions? Like "I don't want to ask any questions". Thank you!

Native English in America isn’t very proper. With that being said, the moment I read your question I initially thought of things I commonly hear with the word “ask” “I don’t know, ask!” “Ask him/her.” “Go ask yourself.” Or there can be a sentence that SHOULD have the preposition “to”, but Americans completely change it in a way that is very common BUT really difficult for people trying their hardest to learn English. For example: “I’m going to go ask.” into “I’m gunna ask.” 🤦🏻‍♀️

How about: Ask me what I would like for my birthday! Ask not what your country can do for you. Correct all my homework? That is quite an ask. I asked for your opinion, not a lecture. Is that what you are looking for?

He asked about her family. The interviewer asked me about my future plans.

I'm not quite sure what you're asking for or why you're asking it. Anyhoo.... Ask - and ye shall receive. Ask me. Ask a silly question... Ask away! All of these imply who is being asked as these are generally in dialogue (is that allowed or not? In your later comments to Tom, it's wasn;t clear if you intended to disallow 'by implication' who is asking or being asked.)
