This essay will examine the major causes and show the solutions to this phenomenon. The first obvious reason is that parents and teenagers have different opinions about love. Parents want to show concern for their children's lives, education, and health by setting rules so they don't commit bad habits. In contrast, teenagers just want their parents to set them free and let them do whatever they want. This issue makes children conflict with their parents and stay away from their parent’s control The second fact we can see is that due to the fast pace of modern life, parents are now living busier and devoting an increasing amount of time to work. Since parents spend more time at work, they do not have time to talk and share their feeling with their children. Therefore, the distance between them is getting farther and farther and they cannot understand each other. In addition, with the development of society, parents are more worried about their children’s future. Therefore, they force their child to study a lot and unintentionally put them under pressure with high expectations.
