I once was asked which I would rather be, the lion's tail or the mouse's head. That's a good question, isn't it?
In the same way as a picture of yourself at some particular moment in the past, the answer to that question will show up which perception you have of yourself, just at this moment.
The lion's tail is both a privileged watchtower as a secured place from where you could see life passing before your eyes. You don’t need to take decisions about what path followed or where sit down to rest. On the other hand, you have the mouse’s head, tiny and fragile, although with the ability to choose the goals you want to achieve.
Anyway, this isn’t an easy choice. Here we have two different types of immense power: the physical strength of a huge feline and the ability of a little brain of thinking and taking their own decisions.
Thinking about it, I wonder why to go for only one option. Why not settle on the best of both worlds.

Excellent work and an interesting question! Security versus independence, perhaps running one's own small business versus being an employee at a large company.

I once was asked which I would rather be: the lion's tail or the mouse's head. That's a good question, isn't it? In the same way as when you look at a picture of yourself from the the past, the answer to that question will show the perceptions you have of yourself at this moment.
The lion's tail is a fortress -- a secure place from which to watch life passing before your eyes. You don’t need to make decisions about what path to follow or where sit down to rest. On the other hand, you have the mouse’s head, tiny and fragile, though with the ability to choose your path and achieve goals.
This isn’t an easy choice. Here we have two different types of immense power: the physical strength of a huge feline and the ability of a small brain to think and make decisions.
In considering this, I wonder why go for only one option. Why not decide upon the best of both worlds?
I think you need to explain yourself more here for people who are unfamiliar with the saying. Why is the lion's tail about security? And I don't understand the relevance of your second sentence.
