When I graduated and got a job that required this language - I forced myself to learn it again (properly) so that I could work well. Afterwards I moved to another city, then I left that job and looked for a new one where English was not required, although, I sometimes still enjoy doing stuff in English - like watching films, listening to music, and listening to podcasts, in English, to relax.
