The pie-chart gives information about what Anthropology graduates from a certain university went on to do after graduation by showing the percentages of six different categories while the table illustrates how much money they earned after having worked for five years. From the pie chart it can be seen that graduates going into full-time work accounted for the largest part, taking more than half of the total graduates (52%). The next highest was part-time work, which took up 15%. Graduates without any work came in third, at 12%, followed by full-time postgraduate study, part-time work plus postgraduate study and unknown with 8%, 5% and 8% respectively. Moving on to (this is a good opening to the second main paragraph. You can also use ‘turning to’) the salaries shown in the table, it lists three types of employment. People working in the government sector had the chance to reach the highest salaries with 50% of them earning more than 100,000 dollars per year. People who worked as Freelance consultants also performed well, with 40% in the top bracket while those working for private companies had the least opportunity to get jobs with paying more than 100,000 dollars per year (30%). In summary, just over half of the anthropology graduates successfully obtained a full-time job and the government sector was the best place to have a chance to earn the highest salary.
