Hello everyone. I'm preparing for the IELTS exam but I have some questions, after solving some exams and read books and tips about it, I know my weak points. the first one you have to spell the word correctly if you write one letter wrong they will consider your answer as incorrect. I watched some videos on youtube about sound and pronunciations, I'm making a little progress but the word which I knew before I will write it correctly but if I don't know the word I sometimes write it down incorrectly. I have the same problem with nouns, adjectives, and adverbs. Should I memorize a lot of words for that or There some tricks for it? #IELTS #LISTENING SKILL #Vocabulary

Okay I know nothing of IELTS exams but spelling was always a strong suit for me. Yes, there are tricks in that there are rules that are consistent enough to be worth learning. BUT at the same time I advise against memorizing tricks for the long-term. It's better for you to see real examples, even within the context of just a sentence, and get a feel for what's correct, than to memorize arbitrary rules with a bunch of "if" clauses that aren't even accurate all the time.
