JOB INTERVIEW QUESTION: What is your greatest weakness? Food for thought: This question is not as common as "What is your greatest strength?" but still is something worth thinking about because the topic it addresses could come up in different ways. And what is the topic, the objective, of the question? It is asking the person - How self aware are you? It is asking you to say where you could improve. It is asking you if you know where you are not as strong as you would like to be. It is asking you if you can appraise yourself. The question is about a RELATIVE skill - NOT an ABSOLUTE skill. It is NOT asking you what are you bad at. It is NOT asking you to tell us why you shouldn't hire you. It is NOT asking you if you are weak. Focus on a skill that is not critical to the position but that you generally would like to be better at, you could already be ok or good at this skill, but that you would like to improve.
