Last weekend was my birthday, and it was a very special day for me. I had been looking forward to it for a long time, because birthdays always feel like a chance to celebrate life and to feel the love of people around me. Even though it was a happy day, it was also a little busy. My dance circle had a big performance, so I could not spend the whole day celebrating with my family. I felt a little sad about that, but I also knew the performance was important, and I was proud to take part in it. When I finally came home after the event, I was surprised by my sister. She had prepared macarons, a sweet message, and some flowers for me. It made me feel warm inside, because she thought about me even though I was busy. My parents also gave me a bottle of champagne. It was their way of showing congratulations, and I appreciated their kindness. I realized that even if we could not sit together for a big party, their small actions showed their love. One thing is still missing, though. We have not eaten my birthday cake yet. I am really looking forward to sharing it with everyone soon. Eating cake together will be the final step to complete my birthday celebration, and I hope it will be a joyful moment for all of us.
