I'm Andrea and i was born in Brindisi, Italy. I left my hometown at 19 and moved in different cities for job. Now, since 2009, i live in Milano and i put down my roots here. I have a fantastic family, two doughters and i really appreciate the different cultural events , the life style, possibilities and multiculturalism that only a city like Milano is able to offer. Notwithstanding, i was always attached with my Hometown, my parents still live there and i'm closely link with my old friends. Brindisi is a small town in the south of Italy, it was named the East Door during the roman empire becouse it was one of the most important harbour of the empire. Concerning that point, you can visit the two famous roman columns that remarked the end of the Appia Way. During the 19TH century, Brindisi became an important port towards the british colonies. The famous Indian mail boats started their long travel to Bombay from Brindisi. I really recommend to visit this little, sunny, peaceful and historical city.
