My favorite subject in school was history. I liked to read books with historical plots, especially related to Ancient Egypt, Greece, Rome, and the civilizations of Mesopotamia. My father regularly bought the magazine called Around the World. There were many interesting articles about the history of countries, new palaeontological researches, excavations of destroyed ancient cities, and so on. I read stories that deal with the reconstruction of the life of people in the Stone Age with great interest. And what is very important, I was lucky to have a good teacher in school. Maybe if I didn't choose painting, I would become a historian or anthropologist.
