I would like to tell you about Leonardo Da Vinci today. He was an Italian painter, scientist, inventor, writer, and composer. Leonardo was born in the village of Ankiano, near Vinci. His father was a 25 year old notary and his mother was a peasant woman. In his early years he lived with his mom, and his father soon re-married to a noble and rich woman. But they couldn’t have children, and so he decided to take away the son from his mother and Leonardo suffered from the separation afterwards. Although he had lots of friends and students, nobody knew about his private live. Some said that he was homosexual and he never got married. I assume that the most famous of his pictures is the undying Mona Lisa. No one knows who she is, but her smile conquers everybody.
