As far as I am concerned, the first and foremost reason why some people will send their parents to nursing homes is that they are are short on time. They are too busy to take care of their own parents for different reasons. This fact seems a little bit cruel and sadly, it is true. Given that time is limited and precious, more and more people would rather place a higher priority on their own needs than to spend time with their parents. I couldn't disagree more on this to a certain extend. In my opinion, your parents should be the closest people you’ve ever been with, since they are the one who took care of you from a young age. They raised you up and you should be grateful for all the benefits that you have received from them till today. As they are getting older, I believe that it is only right that you put on a mature thinking cap and repay them by caring and nurturing for their old age. Show lots of love to your parents and treat them well. I believe you will not regret the choices that you make for yourself today in the near future.
