I'm a huge fan of using Memrise for vocabulary after you learn the basics (measure words, word order, etc. etc.).  Once you have the building blocks to form a basic sentence, learn a few hundred words.

I'm also a fan of YoYoChinese, but it's quite expensive.  Though I found just one month drilling all the grammar videos (~65 of them) and the dialogue was a MASSIVE help.  Her grammar lessons really take from you basic sentences to more complicated ones.

Other than that, just keep learning vocabulary!
