Hello! Do you happen to know which online school TESOL certificates are trustworthy? I know there is Cambridge CELTA course for teachers, but most tutors don't seem to have them, apparently because tuition fees are high in there. I googled it and there were so many search results, that now I am in doubts. Is there a way do evaluate those certificates?

The keyword you need in your search is "accredited". This means the certificate is officially validated and recognised.
A number of TESOL courses advertised online and through schools are merely "in-house" training, which means you can only get your next job through the agency/school that trained you. Very limiting. Naturally, it's far better to do a course and be able to take your certificate to any employer.
And yes, the CELTA is expensive... but also very intensive. It's no walk in the park. :)
