A new website dedicated to Language Exchange
When I decided to learn english, aproximated last year, I found an useful site, called SharedTalk.com (after a while this site was closed, and another company named Rosetta Stone is in that address now :( killing my favorite site) , which had a room chats, separated in multiple language rooms. and the option of sort the participant list by country, age, sex, native language or learning language, and the posibility of talk by voice in the same site without ask for the skype, Gmail hangouts, etc. as is usual. Then, I learned to speak (a little bit) but it helps me to relax and improve my english talking with, for example, with a person that had a british english. How? Sorting by 'native language=english' and then 'country=United Kingdom'. In short, it's a pity. One day in internet, I found the creator of SharedTalk (Bernard Vanderydt) and his new web page, named hellolingo.com where he is building a web like SharedTalk, and is available a little chat with basic caracteristics, and talking with he, the page now in construction, the day of tomorrow, will contains the same caracteristics of filters, talk by voice and a big community for language exchange.
I write in part, because I want to spread the word, due to is a useful tool to improve new languages, as long as the chat contains too many participants. Now, when yesterday I entered to the room chat, it had about ten persons, and I know that if more people join, this will be a hit/accomplishment.
A hug from Chile.
