Hi everyone!
In order to have really successful workshop on Serbian as a foreign language I need your help. I have asked some of my students to make videos and they have done an excellent work! Now, some people are shy and don't prefer videos. That is why I would like you to write an answer to one simple question and provide a very short description about your first lesson:
Why are you learning Serbian?
My first impressions from the first lesson (please include things that might put you off).

well you know the current why :-) as for the original why and or hardships or challenges that I have encountered along the way I could write a book I think :-D it has taken me 3 years to find a really good teacher and method that works for me to learn and that is from someone that has learned other languages, so the 'learning another language' was not a challenge for me.
First quite easy answer: I met my love and he´s Serbian so to better understand him and also his family I want to learn it.
Second: Serbia is a wonderful country - i´ve only been there three times but how open and friendly the people were, grabbing together all their English and German they know (I´m german) and offering everything possible to me as a guest really touched me. I was not even able to tell some of them a simple "thank you"...
