If you had the chance of a return to the past would you do?

If my whole life is a dream and the next second I'll wake up . I think it would be going like this way.

” Hey, I'm still a child ! it was a dream? I think I saw my future, now I know what I want to do , I have chances to restart, I would be a better one！“

But actually there are mnay things we konw we don't have to return to the past, we can do it now.

To clarify, do you mean our own past, or farther in the past, say to a different century or time period? I definitely don't want do to any part of my own life over, but I might want to see how life was in a different time.
