I really enjoy learning Mandarin. I also enjoy listening to and playing music. Recently, I have been searching for Chinese musicians.

So far I have found 4.

Khalil Fong, Jane Zhang, Li Ronghao, and Han Lu.

My favorite type of music is jazz/r&b, so my favorite of the four is Khalil Fong. I also like Tan Wei Wei, Wang Fei, and Pushu, but I am looking for more current artists.

I am interested in everyone's thoughts on mandarin music right now, your thoughts on the four artists above, and who are some other mandarin musicians you like. :)

I also like listening music, and these singers as you know as well as I know except Han Lu. Maybe you want to say, '' Lu Han'', he is a team member in EXO, a very popular Korean boy-band.

About the four Chinese musicians you mentioned, I personally like Khalil Fong and Li Ronghao most. Just like you said, Khalil Fong's songs are mostly R&B. So I am fond of them because they're relaxing. As for Li Ronghao, some of his songs are really fantastic. And he is also a good songwriter. He had wrote some songs for another Chinese musician who's name is Xue Zhiqian. I highly recommend you to listen these songs if you had time. And I hope you will like it.

Hey Kenneth,

For Mandarin singers who are popular internationally in Asia, you have to know Jay Chow, Jolin Tsai, and A-mei!

Especially Jay Chow, he's not only big in Asia, but also in Chinese American community because he's in a few blockbusters these days. :D I have no comment on his acting, but he is a talented musician for sure!
