Preferred Lesson Length - 30 mins? 60 mins? 90 mins?

How long do you like your lessons to be?

I find that 90 minute lessons are the most efficient. I can practice conversation for a bit, then work on grammar and finally practice pronunciation. I can't seem to squeeze all that into 60 minutes without feeling that we didn't go deep enough into the subject or target language.

I'd love to know your opinion and experience (both as a teacher and a student).

Cheers!

As a teacher, I suppose it all comes down to two things: time availability and will to learn.

If they don't have much time or don't have the money to invest in longer lessons, I prepare what I would normally for a longer lesson, but just shorten to fit it in an hour lesson. Does this make any sense? :) As a teacher, I have to provide the tools and information to both help the student either way.

I do agree with you though, because afterall, the more exposure to your target language, the better. This is why we're so good at our native languages because we assume you read/write/speak/listen to it every day. :)

If it is the class that I liked , I wish the time is as long as possible .[emoji]
