If you don't want other people to see that teacher on your profile, you can also remove your lesson history completely from your public profile. To do that go to your Account Settings > Privacy > and untick Allow people to view my lesson history.

You need to block them, and that is it. they dont apear in your profile enymore. 

As long as you only "bookmarked" (or whatever it's called), you should be able to. If you've taken a class with the tutor, I don't think there is a way of removing said tutor from your profile.
