Chinese textbook for self study with an emphasis on writing? (Simplified characters) I’m looking for a beginner Chinese textbook that can stand alone (without a teacher.) Id like a combination of listening, writing and reading practice, but a lot of textbooks I see seem to fall short in the writing area (introducing new characters without showing pinyin AND the stroke order, combining traditional and simplified characters etc). I just want simplified characters. Any suggestions?
