I recommend you to learn the standard Arabic rather than any dialect, it's not as the same as what is going on with British and American English.When you will be able to talk in the standard Arabic,all of Arabic people will understand you.But when non Arabic speaker try to speak in a particular dialect, It's a kind of weird. 

Don't learn the accent! For th beginning start with (fusha) the original language then learn the accent

Watch Syrian, Libanese tv shows. Also, Turkish shows dubbed in Arabic.
