You can't know when you will die. However if possible, do you want to know?
I’m inclined to say “yes, I would like to know when I’m going to die” so that I could plan my life accordingly. But then again, what if I was then informed that I’m going to die next Tuesday at 11:16 am? Then I think I would prefer to live unsuspectingly until that murderous moment.
This is the very killing question :)
My answer is "No". Being noticed when to die, or whatever future things, might be advantageous to spend our own lives in a more desirable way, but, as a matter of fact, we could tell "which is better" or "what is right" just retrospectively. I believe the value of life is determined not only by its outward appearance but also by its dignity that could arise just because he or she lived their lives to the full, with many mistakes, regrets and efforts. If I knew when to die, my way to live would be bound by the hindsight, decreasing the consequential amount of dignity.
