There are various ways to ask how do you say "something" in Indonesian. Since somehow in daily conversation we don't always have to use the proper grammar while describing things, thus these are some examples you may want to study sorted from the most formal to the most colloquial ones.
1. Apakah Bahasa Indonesia dari "something"?
2. Apakah terjemahan Indonesia dari "something"?
3. Apa Bahasa Indonesianya "something"?
4. Bahasa Indonesianya "something" apa ?
5. Apa Indonesianya "something"?
6. Indonesianya "something" apa ?
7. Bahasa Indo-nya "something" apa ?
8. "something" Indo-nya apa ?

Hi David, if you have questions about Indonesian you can ask me anytime. I'm currently learning English and Spanish.
My understanding from your question is that you are asking about the pronunciation. If yes, you could say this in Bahasa Indonesia:
"Bagaimana cara mengucapkan kata 'computer' dalam Bahasa Indonesia?".
And the answer would be:
"Cara mengucapkannya adalah 'com-poo-ter' (where the letter 'R' is pronounced)."
But if you are asking about the meaning of the word or translation, you could say:
"Apa arti 'computer' dalam bahasa Indonesia?".
The answer would be:
"Arti 'computer' dalam bahasa Indonesia adalah 'komputer'."
Note that all examples above are formal, but everyone in Indonesia will understand them and they're pretty much acceptable.
I hope this will help :)

Selamat malam, Pak David
The direct and formal translation of "how do you say.... in bahasa?" would be "bagaimana mengatakan .... dalam bahasa?". However, that would sound unnatural.
In colloquial, I would say ".... bahasa Indonesianya apa?". For example: "computer" bahasa Indonesianya apa?.
Hope it would help. You could write your question on the answer section. However, you could throw a topic on the discussion board.
Selamat belajar,
