Two days ago, I was reading an article on psychologytoday.com 

The article was about breaking bad habits. It was entirely a combination of words and concepts I read before in multiple self help books; there was nothing so compelling. However, at the end of the article, the author used a quote that captivated my attention, and it literally hit the nail on the head. 

The quote was: "Be proactive rather than reactive and deliberate rather than routinized".
