what is the difference between "wrong" and "false"??

can you use these in sentences to explain it more??

What about: It is wrong to give a false testimony in court? :)

1) Wrong: when someone do something that is not good

Ex. A:John´s parents will not by him a bike and he argue with them.

     B:That is wrong.He can understood parents.They migh do not have money.

2)False: when something is not correct

Pupil:The Sun revolves around the Earth.

   Teacher:No,that is false.Earth revolves around the Sun.

Wrong can be sometimes more subjective and about moral. False is just the opposite for true. So, 1<0 is false. And not doing your math home work is wrong! (At least according do your subjective math teacher, who think maths are important in life)

A statement can be true or false....Everything else is correct or wrong.

false rends to imply "on purpose".

 

Your answer on the test was wrong. (you didn't mean to be wrong, you just didn't know)

 

The testimony he gave in court was false. (he basically lied)
