Hi everybody! My teacher recently gave me a new task to do. What do different names of cars mean? For example Ford Mondeo. How I have known the corporation Ford wanted to make a world car. That is why they took the name for their car "Mondeo". This is a word from Latin language and it sounds like "mundus". It has meaning "World". And what do you know about names of cars?
And then there was the Chevy Nova. I currently in in Northern Virgina (Nova). Among my neighbors, no va means it doesn't go.
Honda I am sure means origin of the rice field
Mitsubishi means 3 diamonds, like their symbol
