i am a student in university and plan to go abroad to continue maseter degree.yesterday i have received my test report form ,only get 5.5...so sad ...my school need me to get 6.5 .is there anyone can help me ?what can i do to improve rapidly?
I took the IELTS test about 9 months ago and got 6.5 overall band score in my first attempt. I even got 7 in the writing part. I think you were not well-prepared for the test. You should practice as much as possible before taking the test. I suggest taking a look at the following link. This website helped me a lot when I was preparing myself for the test. 她说不敢都填正确了，怕到了国外给人家一看，阅读听力都是满分，学习还跟不上的。
（个人来说，语言在短期内有质的飞跃很难，总之，多看看历年考题吧，尤其是口语和写作）
I forgot to mention that you can practice your written English in italki. There are a lot of kind native English speakers who can help you or correct your entries.
Keep in mind that "practice makes perfect"
Are you taking any specific IELTS classes? You need to work with a teacher who can show you where you need to improve and how to do it.
Also, get a few IELTS course books to work with by yourself at home. Make sure you have the answers too.
ha, iam aslo in the same situation as yours, but donot get ielts for studying abroad.
