If you think the criticism is reasonable,take it and improve yourself.If you think it's unreasonable,just ignore it.If you are afaid of criticism,you can do nothing ,and then you will still be critisized.So just do what you want to do and let it break in all its fury.
I do not know. Sometimes it seems to me that even doing nothing is also "a doing".
Criticism is acceptable when it's said politely. I would rather be something & get critisized, better than be nothing.
I think that this quote is about people who avoid taking certain actions due to the fear of being criticzed.
