Dear friends,
as I am proceeding with learning the Korean language, I miss some resources like a dictionary or a grammar book. I use a German book "Power-Sprachtraining Koreanisch" by the company Pons. It is quite good, but the communication samples are made like "sentence in Korean = sentence German" without explaning, how the Korean language "works", the system behind the sentence patterns. Also, I feel it to be difficult to find good translations of the words used in the sample sentences.
So: what dictionary are you using for learning Korean? What grammar book?

Under the heading textbooks you will see Korean Grammar for International Learners and Using Korean: A Guide to Contemporary Usage available for download. Perhaps, you could take a look at these textbooks and then decide which to buy.
I own both. I tend to favour Korean Grammar for International Learners. I find it more useful on a practical basis than Using Korean.
In der Deutschen Literatur ...habe ich bisher kaum ein gutes Buch zum Koreanischlernen gefunden! Am besten schaust du bei den englischsprachigen Büchern nach.

Gut strukturiert, aber Englisch. Für "Grammar in use" gibt es auch einen Band für Fortgeschrittene

Mal ein Buch auf Deutsch. Sehr komprimiert aber enthält viele brauchbare Informationen für ein tieferes Verständnis..man kann damit lernen ..allerdings ist der Gestalltung sehr "akademisch"

thanks a lot for the many responses to my question. I think I will go ahead with the Naver dictionary. There even is a good app for my smartphone.
As for a grammar book, I decided for the "Korean - An Essential Grammar" from Routledge, as I have good experiences with this editor in another language and it is available for my kindle.

Korean Grammar In Use Series (with CD) as well as Yonsei's Korean Grammar For International Learners and College Korean give you a great foundation on reading texts and grammar.
As for dictionary, I highly recommend using the NAVER one http://endic.naver.com/?sLn=en
