Hi, recently I have seen a lot of ladybirds around my home and I have one tree at my terrace that has a lot of green flies (a small bug that I have discovered that the ladybirds feed on it).
So this morning I caught more or less eight ladybirds and I will prove if they can eat the green flies...did you do something similar? could you give me any advice? Let´s see what´s happen!!
I would advice you to get a job and to marry someone))
Jaja...I was laughing with your comment Gleb....don´t worry I have a job, I am married and I have three kids!! I just like the life of the bugs!! :)
Aegis thanks for you comment...I know that these bugs can call ladybirds or ladybugs but I had no idea about that this is a difference between UK and US.
Good luck with your experiment Pluvio.
I have 3 clear plastic storage tubs that my garden plants are in until the threat of frost is over.
I opened the lid for a few minutes this morning, and when I looked back, there was a red ladybug on one of my Basil Plants. It was nice to see.
I have about 5 varieties of Tomatoes, Sweet Basil, Squash, Sugar Pumpkins, Cucumbers to put out.
I can also go to the Garden Store not far from my home and buy a whole package of Ladybugs to put out and I can also buy a package or "Preying Mantis" to put out.
@Pluvio - I see that they use "ladybird" in the UK. We use "ladybug" in the US. Just be glad that you haven't been seeing a lot of "ladyboys" around your house.
@Gleb - "advice" is a noun. The verb you are seeking is "advise". By the way, that was a nice bit of trolling; I'm jealous.
