It was very hot outside, but the woman was wearing a heavy winter coat. The restaurant was nearly empty, but she was sitting next to our table anyway. The woman was looking at me for a second and gave me a friendly smile. After that, I forgot about her. Later one, we was paying our bill and getting ready to go home when one of my friends was realizing that his wallet was missing from his back pocket. We were calling the police, and they came right away. Unfortunately, I wasn't seeing anything, so I couldn't help very much. As it turned out, the police knew the woman and were looking for her. Unfortunately, I DON'T SEE anything, so I couldn't help very much. As it turned out, the police knew the woman and were looking for her. They never found her, and my friend never got his money back. I can't find the 2 missing ones. For me: - WEAR is an active verb. - SIT is an active verb. - LOOKING AT (to focus the eyes on something) is an active verb. - LOOKING FOR (what is like the verb "search") is an active verb. Help me, please.
