For example, I will say, "itsumo arigatou"(thank you always) The word"itsumo" is suitable for oral conversation or informal writings. On the other hand, I'll write a letter to a customer, "日頃はお世話になっておりますhigoro wa osewani natte orimasu."(thank you for your support). The word,"higoro"is suitable for formal writings.
