First notebook entry: Introducing myself I am a freelance English language editor. I want to learn Kannada as I spend about 6 months each year here in Bangalore. I merely want to speak in Kannada. I do not know how to write and I want to only learn spoken Kannada as it will be useful in my daily interactions with people of the city.
