Exercise ESOL Examination Writing

Exercise: You have just had a wonderful holiday staying with some English-speaking friends in the countryside.
Write an e-mail to your friends. In your e-mail, you should:
- thank them for your stay.
- say what you most enjoyed about the countryside.
- suggest where you could meet each other next time.

Hello friends,

I am writing this letter because I want to thank you for allowing me to stay with you over the hoildays. I liked all the activities we did in the countryside. But, my favourite activity was to see clouds while we were sitting and talking. I would like to see you another time. I invite you to come to my house near the seaside. I hope to hear your answer soon.
