Study

I study at a language school in the city of Recife, Pernambuco, Brazil where I'm starting to learn the English language with the help of new friends. I would like to strengthen this learning through new friendships that arise here, and give my help in return to anyone who wants to learn Portuguese, the language of Brazil!

Jose, well done for your effort! Your English still has a way to go though; in my correction I had to search for your meaning and I'm not sure if I got it right.

HERE'S A NOTE TO ALL THOSE LEARNING ENGLISH:

When you use a present participle followed by another verb, the second verb will always be in it's infinitive form. I have demonstrated this below with a bunch of examples, the blue highlights indicate the verb that is in the present participle form while the yellow highlights indicate the verb that is in the infinitive form.

I am starting to learn.

He/She/It is learning to play the piano.

You are going to swim in the sea.

They are hurrying to get there on time.

We are following him to find the address.

You are all wanting to leave early.

ALSO NOTE that the "present participle" follows the conjugated verb 'to be'. It is underlined above. In English we never say, "I going", but "I AM going".

Hope this helps!
