My first Recorder [566]
About two decades ago, during a summer holiday when I went to Singapore on a tourist trip with my father, I bought a cassette recorder which, I thought, was really special because I was going to use it as a English study tool in the following semester. As you know, in those days we didn't have any modern machines and facilities, like the internet, computers, mp3 players, etc. It was much harder for me to study a foreign language then because there weren't any chances to hear native speakers during my middle school years.
So, you can imagine how delighted I was when I bought it. After that, the first thing I did was to buy English tapes, and sometimes I exchanged those tapes with my classmates. After all, a large percentage of them had already bought their own machines.
It was special not only because it was wonderful study tool, but because I was the first electronic product I had ever had during my teenage years. Since it was produced by the Sony Company, its quality was terrific. I was so proud to have a foreign brand machine bought from a foreign country.
