天上飘着些微云，
地上吹着些微风。

Tiny clouds drift in the sky,
A slight breeze blows below on the ground。
Ah！
The breeze rustles ruffles my hair,
How could I not miss/think of her？
The moonlight makes love to the sea,
The sea makes love to the moonlight。
Ah！
This sweet silvery night,
How could I not miss/dream of her？
Fallen flowers/petals slowly float on the water,
Small fish slowly swim below beneath the water,
Ah！
My swallows, what are you saying？
How could I not miss/long for her？
The withered tree sways/ Withered leaves rustle in the chilled wind,
The prairie fire burns at Wildfires glow/blaze in the twilight.
Ah！
Remnants of sunset's orange clouds are still in the west。
Tell me, how could I not miss her？
