doing homework

My son is used to playing table tennis after school. Many students are used to doing their homework while they play table tennis. However, he always is always playing when while they do their homework. He used to do his schoolwork while I cook dinner. But he starts to watch TV when he comes home. I ponder this problem. I wonder if I should urge him to do his homework quickly. Can you give me some good advice ?
