First notebook entry: Introducing myself

Hello everyone. My name is David. I'm software engineer. I come from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. (Run-on sentences) I need to improve my English, because I'd like to get new job opportunities abroad.

So,(We usually don't start off a sentence tiyh "So", but it's not technically wrong) I am here to find people who are also learning languages and we could practice together.
