There are a few reasons to believe minority languages should be disappear. Firstly, when globalization takes over, minority languages do not fit into the job requirements, causing labor force having to study more popular languages to survive and develop on their career. Secondly, it will become expensive on education to keep this language in use, with governments having to invest on the education system for the young generations. Governments should cut the cost of saving minority in order to focus on others well-fare.
Several languages are in danger of disappearing because they are only spoken by a very small number of people. Some people say that governments should spend public money on saving these languages, while others believe that would be a waste of money. Discuss both these views and give your opinion.
Despite of the above different arguments, I believe that governments should be investing funds to protect and preserve the language which exist and developed within the history of each nation. It is not only the spoken languages, but also, the beauty of the culture which grandparents, parents want to keep and save for their children. Moreover, minority languages are a contribution for diversifying a culture of and its society. By spending money to protect minority languages, governments can preserve traditions and cultures that are part of a history’s nation.
In conclusion, it may save the money to allow minority languages to disappear, but in long-term, it will have a negative effect to culture heritage.
