What is a purpose to learn another language?

When I began to learn English, the first main purpose for it was my job, but after watching several videos on youtube I do not think this is a good motivation. The motivation to learn any language is to have a big passion, the sparkle that will grow up into unextinguisheable  fire. To have an opportunity to change cultural, traditional information about your nation and to appreciate it and to be appreciable, it is just amazing.
