My diary A few years ago I left my job to prepare for an entrance exam for interpretation and translation school. The study was much harder than I had expected. Many of the students with the same goal as mine had lived or been educated in countries where the target language is spoken, but I haven't. So they were much ahead of me from the start in the studies, and things were not favorable to me. I failed on the exam in the end and I had to find a job again. I could have been disappointed by the result at the time, but I tried to see it in a different way. I focused on myself being eqipped with better language skills than before because of that study. This positive thinking helped me being confident about finding a new job, and soon I was offered a job from a multi-national company.
