This week was the Federal election in Canada. We all went to vote on Monday and the Liberal party won. Before the Conservative party was in power. I've heard that the new Prime Minister is the second youngestr candidate to be elected., I think he's 44. Funny thing about him, a lot of people talked about his beautiful hair during the campain :)

Or: Since 20xx/For xx years/ until today...
