Diary 2: Crazy Handful of Nothing I am sorry to be a spoiler of the show, if you have not watched Breaking Bad and planning to do so, you should not read my diary.

I have to say Breaking Bad brings me fantastic experience of watching shows again. In Episode 6, Season 1, there is a huge turnover of Walter's character, from the good and moral high school teacher, to a slippery drug dealer Heisenberg, the name comes from a great person in Chemistry History. There are details in this episode are so amazing when you notice them. First, the title of the episode is crazy handful of nothing, when the family play cards together, Walter decides to put all of his bet in when he actually has nothing good in his hand. However, it scares off Hank, his brother in law, give up his winning cards. Hank's wife looked at Walter's card and said: " a handful of nothing". This scene is just a little metaphor of what happens to Walter's next move. Drug dealers are crazy, especially the new local dealer Tuco is extremely violent. At the end of the episode, he made a deal with Tuco by a small chemistry trick, he wins 50 grand dollars with a bag of chemistry product which is the "crazy handful of nothing". The important thing for the whole story is the shift from "Walter" to "Heisenberg". "Walter" represents the weak part of him, with a head of knowledges but he can not actually use those to make his life vivid, he is forced to do extra work by some car wash boss and disrespected by his students in school. In contrast, " Heisenberg" is obviously a tricky fox, he uses whatever he gets to hide from police and extract money from drug dealers, chemistry is his capital, but the fundamental of his success comes from his skills of convincing others.
