Today, I’m going to go shopping because I don’t have autumn and winter clothes. I threw them away when I organized my closet. Also, there is food that I want to eat. So, I’m going to go shopping and eat some food. When I return home after shopping, I have to do my homework. I think I have to prepare Power Points for presentations and do homework as usual. I want to finish almost all of it today because I want to rest on Sunday. So, I made an effort to finish my homework today. I think it may be a fulfilling and enjoyable day.😉
1. "to go" is a verb and the "to" after it is a preposition, so since "shopping" is not a place, it is incorrect to say "go to shopping." 2. "Them" instead of "it" because "them" refers to the clothes, which is plural. 3. "Also" is the better transition here. It just indicates you are adding more information. 4. "What I want to eat" refers to a noun. It refers to the food you want to eat. "That I want to eat" describes the food, so it makes sense to use "that I want to eat." 5. "I think I have to prepare Power Points for presentations" and "I think I have to prepare Power Points to present" are both correct. They have similar meanings. 6. Without the "do", it would imply that you have to prepare both Power Points and homework. Since "prepare homework" is a little unnatural, I would add the verb "do." 7. The sentence "I want to almost finish today" is a little confusing. You might be trying to say "I want to finish almost all of it today." This means you're hoping to finish the majority of your work today. 8. "Effort" is a noun, not a verb. To make it a verb, you can say "I put in effort to..." or "I made an effort to..." 9. "Enjoy" is a verb. I believe you might mean "enjoyable," which is an adjective or descriptive verb. 10. It sounds just a little awkward to repeat the word "day" twice. It sounds more natural to only state "day" at the end of the sentence: "I think it may be a fulfilling and enjoyable day." Great work overall!
