I experienced extreme weather last Saturday. The weather forecast told me that there would be a storm at the weekend and that everyone should stay home, stay safe. I really didn't want to go outside, but I had to go to the doctor for a check up. I drove to a hospital which was 40 kilometres aways from my home. On the way there, it was sunny. I slowly became relaxed. I even doubted that the forecast was right. At that moment, I thought nothing serious would happen. But everything changed later. The blue sky was suddenly covered by dark clouds. It felt stuffy. I made a decision, which I think is completely correct now. I went home as quickly as possible. Just before I got home, a strong wind with numerous soybean sized raindrops hit the windshield. It made a scary sound. I saw the raindrops land on the ground which created a flood all of a sudden. I looked for a flat and high place then parked my car. I tried my best to get into my apartment, though it's just ten metres away from my car. Later, I saw online that many cars had been washed away by the flood, I even heard that two people died due to the flood. Oh, nature doesn't need any challenges from human beings.
