Anyway we were practicing.We had some problems about talking by this way, but we were still happy to continue. Maybe this chating was not pleased , I felt glad to meet him and practicing with our patience in our chating.

I’m writing about my chat with Lei Lei who is a younger man from Los Angeles.When we chatted on italki he sent me some audio messages in Chinese and I replied by typing in English. Anyway we were practicing.We had some problems with talking this way, but we were still happy to continue. Maybe this way of chatting was not pleasing [to him] but I was glad to meet him and happy to practice patience with our chatting.

(Maybe this chating was not pleased) I felt glad to meet him and to practice with our patience in our chatting.

"Maybe this chatting was not pleased" 我不明白你的意思。 "Practice with our patience in our chatting" makes sense, but there is a better way to say it depending on what you mean. You can say "practice (our) patience while chatting" or "practice patience as well as chatting."
