Dominated
We cannot always live our lives as we choose to. Throughout our lives, we find ourselves forced to make crucial decisions regarding our feelings, destinies and our ambitions. One decision has to do with dismissing and forgetting dismissing people who once had room in our lives or in our hearts. Nowadays people need to think seriously about whether they are ready for a new relationship, whether it is friendship, a romantic relationship, or an intimate one. People avoid these (UNCLEAR what "these" refers to -- relationships?) because they cannot guarantee continuity and success. Do you mean: People often avoid starting new relationships because they are afraid that they will fail at them? They prefer to close their doors to new arrivals. ('arrivals" is unclear -- new opportunities, new relationships, new possibilities...?) How would you feel if you got a call from someone who had once been a good friend but whom you've forgotten -- this next part is unclear: without an intention a part of your past. (I don't know what you want to say here) What your answer would be. UNCLEAR -- answer to WHAT? Do you mean "what would your response to such a call be?" I am pretty sure that you haven't forgotten him because he wronged you, but definitely it is because of the reality that you are dominated by modern lifestyle. I would not write "I'm pretty sure that you haven't forgotten him because he wronged you" -- you don't know that. Unclear what you are trying to say. Are you saying, you've forgotten this person because he is no longer a part of your life? Are you saying "You haven't dismissed this person because of some wrongdoing on his part, but just because he is no longer a part of your busy life right now." ?
