Zidane!~ I haven't been there,but I'll one day! (:

I have never been to Algeria but I want to visit.The only thing that I know about is that Zidane is from there :)

North african country, neighbouring tunisia and morocco. French, Arabic, Berber. Sahara, oil rich, Algier the capital. Annaba, Constantine (named after the roman emperor). I once got an invitation to attend a marriage in Algeria. I needed a visa. The consulate in Bonn was not responding to my telephone calls. I called the Embassy in Berlin and they told me that it takes 14 days to get a visa. I visited the consulate in bonn with completed visa form but they told me that my documents will be checked by the foreign ministry in Algeria and it will take some time. I did not have enough time and they refused to give me visa at once although I had bought my flight and hotel.
